• Learn about computer security

• Manage operating system updates

To participate in this course, you must complete

a Computers For Absolute Beginners workshop

or demonstrate adequate skills at intake.

Intermediate Computers

• Manage files

• Download new software programs

• Use a variety of security programs

• Use the internet safely and effectively

• Use portable storage devices

• Use registry cleaners

MAC, iPad & iPhone

• Use your settings menu

• Use the internet

• Use the Apple store

• Use iTunes

• Download apps

• Post status updates

• Use the apps safely

Due to significant differences between operating

systems and device manufacturers, we are only

able to offer a one-time workshop to teach the

following basics of Android:

• (power, volume, back, home, all apps buttons,

• SIM & SD card slots, camera lenses, microphone)

• Screen icons common to all devices
